A Message from Faith Coalition for the Common Good's President, Roy Williams, Jr.

October 22, 2020

We are celebrating 11 years! "Fighting for Equity and Justice"

Due to the COVID – 19 pandemic, this year the Faith Coalition for the Common Good will not have our annual fall banquet to celebrate our 11th year anniversary. This pandemic has plagued our world and caused great strife to people known and unknown. Through it all, the fight continues for equity and justice. With the recent events regarding people of color, natural disasters, and the challenge of completing the 2020 census, FCCG continues to fight for a fair economy and racial equity. FCCG persists in its mission to build power in relationships and to organize people and money to promote participatory decision making.

This year, in order to reach out to FCCG’s supporters, while maintaining social distancing, FCCG is publishing a 2020 Yearbook.  The 2020 Yearbook will follow the general format of the Program Books from the annual fundraiser.  To compensate for being unable to share the year’s events in person, the yearbook will provide narratives of FCCG’s challenges, events, and successes of 2020.  We would like for you to take part in our "2020 Yearbook," which will be published in January 2021.

Your investment in the Faith Coalition will help us continue our very important work for equity and justice.  The Faith Coalition for the Common Good’s 2020 Year Book will be distributed (electronically and hardcopy) to our member congregations and organizations as well as others who invest in FCCG, which will include local politicians, community, business and religious leaders.  Thank you very much for your investment1 in our work!

See the attached sponsorship sheet, ad book form, and our October 2020 newsletter!  We truly appreciate your ongoing support and commitment to the work of the Faith Coalition.  Kindly reply by January 31. (This is an updated from November 2020)

Sincerely,
Roy Williams, Jr. President, Faith Coalition for the Common Good
