Durbin: ‘Give immigrants a chance’

They were welcomed by Sam Komla, president of Beardstown Immigrant Families United.
Durbin heard several West African and Hispanic immigrants tell their stories of struggle in search of a better life in America. They told of the difficulties in coming to America, the pain of leaving family behind and their ongoing struggles to build a new life in a new land.
